INBA Night At Glo Medical Spa

One of INBA's newest members, Glo Med Spa stepped up and hosted a special INBA night for members to get to know the spa and its services. Luann Padgham and her husband Dr Marcus Dewood are the spa's owners. Dr. De Wood practiced as an Internist at Medical Center Cardiology and is now applying his medical knowledge to his and Luann's new business. 

Med Spas are the newest western medicine trend in healing. A Medical Spa houses both a Medical and Aesthetic staff under one roof, meaning both medical and cosmetic treatments are offered within the center. Depending on the doctor(s) present, these services may range anywhere from Botox injections to Liposuction. Therefore, one role of the Medical Spa is a comprehensive approach to caring for the client before, during and after these procedures take place. The second distinction, again with the presence of Western Medicine, is the Medical Spa's ability to use a higher-grade product. Therefore, the Medical Spa services show greater results and create the perfect balance between clinical and luxury.

Dr. De Wood's is now licensed and certified on Laser skin technology, Microdermabrasion and Botox. Dr De Wood's wife Luann runs Glo Medical Spa and like a good businesswoman she has identified the niche LGBT market that other med spas have ignored. While networking with INBA member Kim Krogh, Luann realized that all of thier gay male friends are just as serious about looking good as a lot of women. She contacted the INBA to become a member and wants to make Glo Medical Spa the spa for the LGBT Community.

At the event Luann had representatives from Youngblood Cosmetics and Allergan. She also invited other new INBA members to participate at the INBA Glo Med Spa night. Victor Azar of Victor's Hummus provided two flavors of his now famous Victor's Hummus, Traci Arkandizi, massage therapist gave 10 minute chair massages, and Chad Ramsey filled in for Krisin Black Photography to take paparazzi and posed photos.

Dr. De Wood's cousin provided live music and displayed some of his artwork with a protion of any sales going to Spokane AIDS Network. All in all it was a great evening at Glo Medical Spa enjoyed by all.
